Here are where you can find recipes for the foods featured in my blog!!

Mama Bear's Punch:
-1 can frozen orange juice (thawed)
-1 can frozen pink lemonade (thawed)
-64 oz cranberry juice (cold)
-1.5 liters 7-Up (cold)
-5 scoops Raspberry Sherbet
Mix all liquid ingredients together in punch bowl.  Add scoops of sherbet.  Serve and enjoy!
Cheese Soup:
5 tablespoons butter1 ½ Cup Chopped Onion32 oz Chicken Broth1 teaspoon pepper1 teaspoon dried mustard½ teaspoon chili powder3.5 oz Bag Oscar Meyer Real Bacon Bits3 Cups Cheddar Cheese12 oz Can Beer (I used Miller Light)

1.  Sautee onion and butter until onion is soft
2.  Add bacon and warm for a few minutes
3.  Add chicken broth and spices; heat for 10 minutes
4.  Add cheddar and beer; continue cooking until all cheese is melted


Shawarma:


Chicken
Cubed Fresh Chicken (2lbs)
Here's where I'm being mean... haven't gotten permission to share the exact recipe:
  1. Soak cubed chicken in:  cinnamon, all spice, pepper, salt, chili powder, nutmeg, cardamom, sage and lemon juice for 4 hours (or more)
  2. Make garlic oil.  In food processor add about 8 cloves of garlic and process until small pieces remain.  Add a pinch of salt.  Scrape garlic into center again.  Gradually, while processor is on,  add 1 cup of Corn oil.  Refrigerate until meal is prepared.  
  3. Preheat oven to 350.  Bake Chicken 20 minutes, stir and bake for an additional 20. 
  4. While Chicken is baking, prepare all store purchased items (cut pickles, warm pita, bake fries (can be at same time as chicken))
  5. Once chicken is baked, assemble, devour and enjoy!!!!!!


Raspberry Filling:
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
1/2 Cup shortening
1 1/2 teaspoon Raspberry Extract
a bit of salt
4 oz fresh or frozen raspberries

Beat the shortening and extract together
Add salt with powdered sugar.  Mix into shortening
Add raspberries and beat on lowest level
